The Vaucluse can also be explored via a dense network of marked trails. The GR9 crosses the Monts de Vaucluse. Cycling routes follow the Via Venaissia or the Calavon bike route. Whether on foot or by bike, the routes alternate between forests, limestone valleys, and open plateaus. For lovers of the nearby natural wilderness, the Gorges du Verdon and the Digne and Sisteron area offer other remarkable routes just a short drive away.

Mont Ventoux: A 2,000-meter climb!

At 1,909 meters, Mont Ventoux is the highest peak in the Vaucluse and towers over Provence. Three legendary routes lead to the summit, starting from Bédoin, Malaucène, or Sault.
